요즘 초등학생들 무섭네요. :-)

음 쉬운것에서도 틀린 문장들이 많이 눈에 띄지만,
한국에서 초등학교 다니는 애들이 한거치곤 잘했네염. 저때보다-.-;

> Teacher's Day

먼저 어버이날이나 그런식의 날을 나타낼때는 Teachers' Day 이런식으로 해야합니다.
아니면 어느 특정한 한 사람만 가리키게 되겠죠.

> It was Teacher’s Day in Korea today.
Today는 과거가 아니기 때문에 It is 로 현재형으로 써야겠지요 ;)
그리고 다시한번 Teachers' Day가 되겠슴다.

> So we had a surprise party for our teacher.

> We planned it yesterday at school.
틀리진 않았지만 좀 어색--; at school yesterday가 더 나을듯..

> Girls did almost all the preparing.
여기도 좀 어색하네요 ^^; 머 그래도 영어권도 아닌데서 배운애들이 한거 치곤 정말 잘한 편입니다. 것두 초등학생이..
Girls have done most of the preparings. 가 덜 어색할듯..

> They brought a cake and came to school by 730 to prepare the surprise party.
케이크를 가지고 오고 깜짝파티를 위해 7시반에 학교로 왔다는건 먼가 이상하지 않나요.
They brought a cake to school to prepare the party at 7.30.
이렇게 하는게 안이상하겠죠.

So I went to school early to help them.
When I arrived, they were putting up balloons.
> I helped them blow balloons and stick it on the wall.
동사가 있은뒤에 them him 이런게 있은 뒤엔 현재진행형이라고 하나요.
그걸 이용합니당.
I helped blowing balloons and sticking them onto the wall.

I think there were about 30 balloons when we were finished.
Everybody prepared at least one thing.
I prepared two bottles of coke and orange juice for the party.
> And I planned the present to give our teacher.
여기선 a present 하는게 나을듯..

> I decided to make kids write letters on small pieces of pretty paper and fold it into a crane, and put it inside a glass bottle, and give it to our teacher as a present to represent our class kids.
decided to make kids라는건 어감이 안좋네요. 꼭 명령하는듯한^^;; 반장인가? 머 그럴수도--; 그리고 반 아이들이 하나씩 종이를 쓸텐데 그러면 종이조각이 많겠죠. 근데 계속 it을 썼네요.
pretty paper라는거도 좀 말투가 어색한듯.. 그리고 represent our class kids가 무얼 나타내고자 한것인지 제가 감을 못잡아서--;
I asked classmates to write letters on small pieces of pretty paper, fold them into cranes, put them into a glass bottle, and give it to our teacher as a present ... 정도

> Kids wrote their letter yesterday and kids who couldn’t fold cranes, just brought it to me and some girls folded the letters.
다시 단수 복수쪽에서의 모 실수일지도 모르지만요 ^^;
그리고 애들이 어제 편지를 적고 접지못하는 애들은 나에게 가져왔다는데..
음 이건 모두 어제 편지를 적었고 접지 못한 애들에 관해서 얘기하는건지
아니면 접지 못하는애들은 어제 적어서 가져온건지 .. 음 전자일듯도 싶은데 후자의 경우엔 다음과 같은식으로 바꾸는게 좋겠죠.
Kids who cannot fold cranes, wrote their letters and brought them to me, so some girls folded them.

There wasn’t much to prepare for the party.
We just had to put up the balloons!, write short sentences to our teacher on the blackboard, and pass out things to eat and drink.

When our teacher was about to come in, we turned off the lights and waited.
> When she opened the door we set off fire crackers and sprayed white snow sort of things on our teacher.
sort of things 라고 하지 않고 sort of thing이라고 해야겠죠. 눈은 셀수 없으니깐;;
그리고 대개 formal한 글짓기에선 sort of thing이란건 자제해야합니다 -)

> She seemed very surprised, so she closed the door and opened it again.
놀란것처럼 보였다고 할때는 She was seemed to be very surprised 라고하죠.
문법상 틀렸습니다.;;

She didn't come in because we set firecrackers on the floor.
Anyway we ate everything and our teacher got lots of presents.
But she didn’t open any of them.
After the party, we went back to our normal classes. It was fun.

이정도로 보면 될듯 싶네요..
걍 딴지걸기라고 생각하시고 비방하거나 하지말아주세요 -.-;;
ㅎㅎㅎ
그래도 대단하네요 초등학생들이 저정도로 하다니..^^;
그래도 한글부터 제대로 떼야할텐ㄷ--;

요즘 어린이들의 한글 사용을 보면 우울할때가 많습니다.

국어붕괴를 느낄 때가 많습니다. (물론, 전부는 아니지만...)

영어를 잘 쓰는 것은 매우 좋은 것입니다.

하지만 먼저 국어 교육부터 제대로 시켜야 된다는 생각이 듭니다.

국어를 잘 쓰는 사람이 외국어도 잘 씁니다.

그리고 제가 말하고 싶은 국어 교육은 100% 한글만 사용 같은 것을

주장하는 것도 아니고, 영어 공부 하지 말자는 것도 아니고,

구개음화니 이런 문법 공부를 시키자는 것도 아닙니다.

단순히 단어, 문법 이런 것을 얘기하는 것이 아닙니다. 자기 의견을

글을 통해서 표현하는 능력을 얘기하는 것입니다.

책을 읽는 공부와 글을 쓰는 공부가 필요합니다.

위의 영어작문에 자신의 주장을 논리정연하게 표현하거나, 자신의

감성을 표현하는 능력이 향상된다고는 생각되지 않습니다.

외국의 교육을 볼 때 정말 본 받아야겠다고 생각하는 교육은

책 읽은 훈련을 시키는 것과 자신의 주장을 표현하는 방법을 배우는 것

입니다...

(특히 글을 통해서 표현하는 것)

이러한 능력을 교육시키는데 열성을 보이는 부모는 별로 없는듯 하네여.

P.S요즘 애들이 "책 필요없어여, 인터넷이 있는걸여~!" 이런 말을 하는

것을 보면, 우리나라의 미래가 암울하게 느껴집니다.
