Zeroconf 다른 네트워크로는 커넥트 할수 없나요?

애플의 NSNetService, NSNetServiceBrowser 클래스를 이용하면 애플기기 끼리는 에어플레인모드여도 (아무런 네트워크가 전혀 동작하지 않는 환경) 각각의 기기끼리 조인되고 데이터 전송이 되는데요..
안드로이드(NsdManager, NsdServiceInfo)와 연결 시키려고 하니 동일한 네트워크 환경이 아니면 검색조차도 안됩니다..

안드로이드와 아이폰이 동일한 네크워크상에 있지 않은 기기 끼리 커넥션 하는게 물리적으로 불가능한것인가요??
