YUV422 planar format을 Y planar 와 UV planar 분리 방법이 있나요?

Ambarella를 사용해서 카메라를 개발 중에 있습니다.
Watermark를 영상에 포함 시켜야하는데, 확인해 보니,
rgb 파일을 YUV422 planar format 으로 변환한 후 YUV422 planar format 을 다시 Y planar 와 UV planar 로 분리해야 한다고 합니다.
혹시 YUV422 planar format 을 Y planar 와 UV planar로 분리하는 방법을 아시는 분이 있으신지요?
혹시 ffmpeg 혹은 tool, 방법을 아시는 분이 있으신 가요?

YUV planar format 이라는 것 자체가 이미 Y plane 과 UV plane 의 두 plane 으로 분리되어 있는 포맷인데요.

덧.
오래 전에 만졌던 거라 좀 헷갈리네요. U plane 과 V plane 도 각각 별도로 있었는지 아니면 합쳐서 한 개의 UV plane 인지.
