debian8에서 openSSL 다운그레이드 질문드립니다.

현재 실제로 서비스하는 서버는 CentOS 이며 openSSL버전은 0.9.8e-fips-rhe15 입니다.

실서버의 openSSL을 업데이트 할 예정이라, 업뎃을 했을 때 영향도를 파악하기 위해
테스트 서버에서 테스트가 필요한 상황입니다.

테스트 서버는 데비안8(어째선지..) 이며 openSSL버전은 1.0.1k 입니다.
실서버와 동일한 openSSL 버전으로 테스트 하기 위해 시도 중이었는데요.

테스트 서버에서 기존 설치된 버전(1.0.1k)를 dpkg -autoremove openssl 로 지운 후
ftp://ftp.openssl.org/source/old/0.9.x/ 이곳에서 0.9.8e 버전을 받아서 make로 설치를 진행하다가
make test를 시도하니 아래와 같은 에러가 뜨면서 완료가 되질 않더라구요.

몇 번을 재시도해도 계속 위와 같이 에러가 나서 진행이 불가한 상태입니다.
몇시간째 구글링을 통해 시도해봤지만 답이 나오질 않아 이 곳에 질문 드립니다..

혹시 데미안8에서 기본적으로 설치된 openSSL의 버전 아래로는 설치가 불가한건가요 ?
아니면 다른 방법이 있을까요 ?
