AIX에서 미러링 관련 질문드립니다.

안녕하세요

AIX에서 디스크 미러링을 걸어주는 이유는 물리적인 문제 발생에 대해 대처하기 위해 미러링을 하는것으로 알고 있습니다. 제가 궁금한것은 LV에서도 미러링을 걸어주는데 논리적인 형태인데도 물리적 영향을 받지 않을텐데 미러링을 걸어주는 이유는 무엇인가요?
