리눅스 상에서 톰캣, JAVA, MYSQL등 제거하는 방법에 대한 문의입니다.

지금 제가 설치한 방법이 yum도 아니고 rpm도 아닌
tar 파일 압축 풀어서 옮겨놓고 /etc/profile 등에서 경로세팅하고
init.d 폴더 안에 각각 파일을 만들고 chkconfig 으로 서비스 등록하는 등..
이런식으로 자잘한 수고를 거쳐서 돌리고 있습니다.

여기서 궁금한 건 깔끔하게 삭제를 원할 경우
1. chkconfig --del 로 서비스 해제
2. /etc/init.d 에 가서 서비스 등록을 위해 만들어놨던 스크립트들 지우기
3. mysql의 경우 /etc/my.cnf, /eyc/my.cnf.d 지우기
4. 프로그램 폴더 지우기
5.(선택사항) /etc/profile의 환경변수들 전부 삭제.

정도면 깔끔하게 지웠다고 할 수 있을까요?
제가 리눅스에 익숙하지 않고 현재 리눅스가 인터넷 연결 환경이 아닌관계로
이런 정도밖에 떠오르질 않습니다.
뭔가 빠진 부분이 있는지 지적해 주시면 감사하겠습니다.
