이것은 무슨 상황? 나의 천운이라고 판단됨.

난 시게이트 하드 하나 더 오면 감사합니다. 하고 그냥 받아먹을 생각인데. 뭐라 해야 하나 이런 상황이 되리라곤 예상하지 못했음. 시스템이 원체 커다랗고 복잡하다 보니, 말단의 직원 하나가 무엇 하나 잘못했더라도 그것까지 완전히 못 동기화되지 않고 그냥 지나치는 수가 있다. 이런 상황으로 파악됨. 난 그냥 입닦고 넘어갈낀데. 설사 내가 입닦고 넘어간다 해도 완전히 동기화되지 않은 시스템이다 보니 그 직원도 아무 일 없이 넘어갈 공산이 크다고 봄.

삼성이 하드사업부를 매각하지 않았더라면 나의 천운도 없었겠지만... 후후후

어쨌거나 행운여부는 일주일 안으로 판가름나던지 이 글 보는 사람들에 의해 판가름나던지 할 것.

이 상황이 어떤 상황인가?

내가 시게이트 삼성하드사업부 한국지역 사무소에 나의 배드난 삼성하드를 표준 벌크 플라스틱 포장에 집어넣고 배드섹터 자료, 시게이트 홈페이지 워런티 시리얼 확인 자료랑 함께 들고가서 직원한테 보여준다. 그러면 그 직원이 하드의 시리얼번호를 확인한다. 그런데, 직원이 뭔가를 복잡하게 처리한다. 어쨌거나 처리 다 하고 보유하고 있던 동종의 시게이트 스티커만 붙은 삼성하드 (시게이트에서 수리완료 인증한 시게이트 로고 붙은 제품)를 나한테 넘겨준다.

이후 이상한 메일들이 날아오기 시작한다. 첫번째는 결함제품 반품을 위한 주문번호가 뜬다. 이것은 한국어이며, 나랑 직원이 일처리를 했던 바로 그 시각의 이메일. 두 번째는 Seagate RMS Receipt Acknowledgement # 해당 주문번호 이메일이 뜸. 즉 자기네 측에서 하드를 받아서 잘 처리했다는 뜻.
