ADC를 이용한 배터리 잔량확인 문의드립니다

안녕하세요
이번에 stm32l 에서 adc를 이용하여 배터리 모니터링을 구현하려고 합니다
데이터 시트상으로는 아래와 같이 공급전압, 레퍼런스전압, 컨버전 전압 범위가 나와있습니다
Vdda 2.4~3.6
Vref+ 2.4~Vdda
Vain Vref- ~ Vref+
adc 쪽 회로도는 첨부파일과 같이 되어 있습니다

제가 궁금한 것은 현재 제가 사용하고 있는 배터리 전압의 범위는 3.6~4.2인데
데이터시트상의 컨버전 범위는 최대 3.6로 나와있습니다
회로도를 보니 앞단에 저항이 있어서 뭔가 범위 이내로 조절해주는 것 같기는 한데
정확히는 모르겠네요
adc를 이용해서 배터리의 사용량을 100%~0%까지 모니터링이 가능한지요?

ADC의 입력저항이 무한대라고 가정하면 4.8v 정도까지는 읽을 수 있겠군요.
단순한 voltage divider인데 질문하신 걸로 봐서 전자공학 전공은 아닐 거라고 보입니다.
하드웨어와 관계 있는 소프트웨어 엔지니어라면 전자공학 지식을 습득하는 것이 여러모로 도움이 될 겁니다.
