Software Developer in Dassault Systèmes Marine & Offshore R&D Lab in Daegu, South Korea

Roles & Responsibilities (Job Description)

• Based on an assessment of software functions, requirements, and design specifications to plan, organize and implement the software projects.
• Applies software engineering concepts and knowledge of object-oriented programming in the creation, design, development, coding, testing, debugging of software application and beta support for assigned software component, applications and projects.
• Work in close co-operation with a group of developers to (a) understand the use cases (b) assist in design of the solution (c) define the requirements (d) implement the solution.
• Diagnosis, debugging and repair of software defects and/or performance issues, plans and develops new system features, with the focus on diagnostic and testing.

Skills & Requirements
Minimum Requirements: B.S. in Computer Science or in a Scientific/Engineering/Naval Architecture field with substantial software development experience. C++ and strong object-oriented design and programming experience a must. Strong communication skills required.
Desired: M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or in a Scientific/Engineering/Naval Architecture field with substantial software development experience.
Experience in any of the following a plus:
• Cross-platform development with C++
• 3D graphics using Open Scene Graph and/or OpenGL
• Computer Aided Design (CAD)
• Understand the Software Configuration Management concept and workflow
• Knowledge of MS Visual Studio
