vmware-tool의 설치 에러...

윈도우7에서 vmware를 통해 우분투 10을 깔고 쓰고 있습니다.
어제 vmware를 통해 공유된 윈7의 폴더가 우분투에서 보이지 않아...
vmware툴을 다시 깔기로 결심했는데요.. ;;

1)
vmware-tools-distrib.pl(?) 설치파일을 실행하자
기존의 vmware tool이 설치해제된다는 메시지가 나왔고
다시 까는 중에 디렉토리를 어디로 하겠느냐는 메시지가 나온 상태에서
그만 컴퓨터가 꺼지는 바람에...

다시 부팅해서 들어와 1)의 과정을 다시 시작해 보니
이전에 깔린 것이 있다며 지우겠느냐고 해서 yes 했습니다.
그런데 다음과 같은 메시지가 떠 버리네요..

Error: unable to execute "/usr/bin/vmware-uninstall-tools.pl.
uninstal failed. please correct the failure and re run the install.
Execution aborted.

음... 설치 중간에 컴이 꺼져서 뭔가 찌꺼기가 어딘가에 남은 것 같은데 맞나요?
그렇다면 이를 어찌 해야 할까요?
무지해서 너무 고생하네요..
