Centos 에 mysql 컴파일설치시 sys_errlist, sys_nerr 에 관한 warning

안녕하세요
날씨가 비온뒤에 많이 추워졌습니다.

Centos6.0 그리고 5.6 에 mysql5.5.X 버전을 설치를 하고 있는데
컴파일 시 아래와 같은 warning이 나옵니다.

perror.c:(.text+0x2d3): warning: `sys_errlist' is deprecated; use `strerror' or `strerror_r' instead
perror.c:(.text+0x31a): warning: `sys_nerr' is deprecated; use `strerror' or `strerror_r' instead

sys_errlist, sys_nerr 을 사용하지 말라는 말인듯한데..
이 경고를 없애고 싶은데...
여러군데 검색을 해보니 소스를 수정하면 된다는데 mysql 소스를 직접 수정하는건 왠지 겁이나고
근데 또 어떤분은 이경고 때문에 세그먼트폴트가 뜨기도 했다는데.. 좀 걱정도 됩니다.
우선은 이 경고없이 깔끔하게 컴파일 되는걸 원해서 대처방안이 있으면 알고 싶습니다.
하지만 방법이 없다면 mysql 설치해서 DB서버 돌리는데 문제없는 거라면 무시해도 되는건지 의견 여쭤봅니다.
큰 용량은 아니지만 5개 정도의 웹사이트에서 사용할 DB를 구축중이라...
