texinfo 파일에 포함된 한글을 컴파일 하는 방법을 알려주세요.

안녕하세요. 고수님들.

영문으로 작성된 texinfo 파일을 컴파일 하여 html, dvi, 혹은 pdf 파일로 생성하는데 어려움이 없습니다. 그러나, 한글이 포함된 texinfo 파일은 한글이 전혀 보이지 않습니다. 어떻게 해야하나요? 2002년에 류창우씨께서 작업하시던 texinfo-ko 란 파일이 존재하다가 개발 중단이 된 것으로 알고 있습니다.

저는 현재 우분투를 사용하고 있습니다. 노하우를 가지고 계신 분께 도움을 부탁드립니다.
