MIT 라이선스를 그대로 사용해도 문제가 없나요?

애플의 앱스토어에 Kin(Peter Sugihara)이라는 개발자의 Grid(http://itunes.apple.com/app/grid/id344926167?mt=8)라는 앱이 있습니다. 2009년 12월에 등록된 이 앱의 소스는 구글 코드(http://code.google.com/p/grid-iphone/)에 MIT 라이선스로 공개되어있는데 며칠 전 똑같아보이는 앱이 Lattice(http://itunes.apple.com/app/lattice/id368510318?mt=8)라는 이름으로 등록되었습니다. 배경색만 바꾼 것을 제외하면 완전히 같아 보입니다. 이 앱의 제작사는 HWADO SOFTWARE라는 곳인데 Kin과는 전혀 관계가 없고 도메인 정보를 보니 우리나라 사람 같습니다.

원 개발자인 Kin도 트위터에서 당황스러워 하는데(http://twitter.com/kinlog/status/12770614770) MIT 라이선스를 보니 굉장히 자유스러워서 원 저작물 표시만 하면 별 문제가 되지 않는 것 같은데 이런 경우에는 도의적인 문제는 있지만 라이선스 상으로는 아무런 문제가 없는 것인가요?

그리고 재미있는 것은 앱스토어의 제품 설명 또한 그대로 가져왔다는 점입니다. 오픈 소스란 단어만 쏙 빼고요.
