요즘 기가랜장비들이 많은데 케일블및 잭type은 어떻게 ?

요즘 서버나 스위치들이 모두 기가랜을 지원하는데요.
기존에 100Mbps랜처럼 케일블연결구조가 기가랑 같은 건가요 ?
기가스위치 기가랜이면 작동하는 방식은 같은건가요 ?
아니면 케이블부터 기가랜용으로 구해야 하나요 ?
서버시스템구축을 일반 UTP타입으로 기가로 구성하려면 어떻게 해야 하나요 ?
궁금합니다.

랜카드와 스위치가 기가비트 지원하고 케이블은 CAT 5E 이상이면 됩니다.

10M 이내라면 CAT 5 도 가능 합니다. 서비스에 사용해도 품질에 영향이 별로 없는 듯..
