CentOS 4. 대 버전에서 5.대 버전으로 Upgrade 방법~

안녕하세요~
Linux 왕초보자 입니다.

다름이 아니고 이번에 저희 회사에서 사용중이 Server 중 한대를 CentOS 4.대 버젼에서 5.대 버젼으로 Upgrade를 단행해야 하는 일이 발생하였습니다.

좀더 쉽게 업무를 진행해보고자 말도 안되겠지만 혹시나 하는 바람으로 질문들 드립니다.

1. CentOS 4.대 버젼에서 5.대 버젼으로 Upgrade를 하기 위해서는 새로 설치 하는 방법 밖에 없는지요?? 새로 설치를 안하고 Upgrade를 단행하는 방법은 없나요??

2. CentOS 5.대 버젼에서 안정화 된 버젼은 몇인가요??

위에 2가지를 알고 싶습니다.

Linux에는 무뇌한이라서 이렇게 질문을 드립니다.

1. 구글에서 찾아보면 포럼이나 사이트들이 몇개 나오네요..

2. 최신 버전이 5.4인 것으로 알고 있는데, CentOS도 안정버전이라는게 따로 있는지 모르겠네요.

CentOS에선 딱히 안정버전이라는게 없습니다.

전부 안정버전이라고 보면 되지 않나 싶습니다.
