IronPython과 IronPython Studio에 대한 관계 및 활용....궁금합니다.

인터넷을 하다가 IronPython에 관한 내용을 알게 되었는데요...

IronPython과 IronPython의 관계를 잘 이해 못하겠네요....

어떤 차이가 있는지요?....Visual Studio에 연결해서 쓸때는 IronPython Studio만 설치해서 사용하면 되는 건가요?
Python은 설치하지 않아도 되는 건가요?

IronPython은 Python 프로그래밍 언어의 구현이니까 www.python.org에서 받는 보통 Python은 설치하지 않아도 됩니다.

답변 감사합니다.
그럼 현재 Python은 2.6 버전이 안정버전인데 IronPython은 Python언어의 구현이면 어떤 버전을 사용한 것인지 알 수 있나요? IronPython 홈페이지에는 없어 보이던데..(제대로 못봤을수도 있지만.)

그리고 VS랑 연결할 때는 IronPython Studio말고 IronPython으로 연결하여 사용할 수 있는 것인가요?

파이썬의 공식 홈페이지에서 다운 받을수 있는 (C로 구현된) 오리지널 파이썬입니다.

오리지날은 C로 만든 Python인데 Java로 만든 Python도 있어서 둘을 구분하기 위해서 CPython, JPython 이렇게들 부릅니다.

여담이지만, JPython은 현재 Jython으로 이름이 바뀌어 있습니다.
