웹페이지에서 임시로 특정자바스크립트를 실행되지 않도록 할 수 있나요?

안녕하세요...

프로그래밍이라고까진 할 것 없지만 html에 대해 잘 모르는 관계로..

java스크립트가 들어간 특정 웹페이지에서 태그를 써서 실행이 되지 않도록 할 수 있나요?

제가 아는 한 IE와 FF는 자바스크립트 사용을 껐다 켰다 할 수 있습니다. "임시"로 자바스크립트를 제어해야 한다면 그 기능을 사용하면 됩니다.
"태그를 써서"라는 말은 HTML을 수정한다는 뜻이 되니까 말씀드리지만, HTML 파일 자체를 수정할 수 있는 상황이라면, 그냥 자바스크립트 부분을 주석 처리하거나 지워버리면 되겠죠. 물론 이 경우는 "임시"라고 말하기엔 좀 이상하긴 하네요.
