일반적인 데스크 탑에서 FILE 접근이 순차 접근(sequential access)가 많을까요? 비순차 접근(random access)이 많을까요?

우리가 많은 어플리케이션을 데스크 탑에서 사용하고 있는데 일반적으로 file에 대한 접근이 순차 접근이 지배적일까요?
아니면 비순차 접근이 많나요?

동영상 파일은 순차 접근을 많이 할 것이고 bin 파일은 비순차 접근을 할 것 같고...이래저래 엇비슷 할 것 같기도하네요.
순차 접근 vs 비순차 접근의 비율이 궁금합니다.

혹시 관련 자료나 지식이 있으신 분 답글 좀 부탁드려요~
