USB-to-Serial 드라이버설치중 문제

VMware로 fedora를 사용하고 있는 유저입니다. 제가 사용하는 프로그램이 시리얼 포트로만 사용가능하게 되어 있어서. 드라이버를 설치하던중에 약간의 문제가 생겨서 질문드립니다.

파일의 압축을 풀고 디바이스 드라이버를 컴파일하려고 했으나 아래 첨부한 그림과 같이 오류가 발생했습니다. 일단 처음 리눅스를 접하는지라 잘 이해할수가 없더군요...;;
작은 도움을 부탁드립니다.

참고로 컴퓨터에서 기본적으로 시리얼 포트를 지원하지 않습니다... 그리고 쓰려는 장비가 ttyUSB0로 통신이 불가능한 상황입니다...
