firefox speed up!!! tips

I just found this tip while web suffing.

인용:

To get started, type "about:config" in your FireFox address bar. The settings you're looking for are:

1.) network.http.pipelining
2.) network.http.pipelining.firstrequest
3.) network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
4.) network.http.proxy.pipelining
5.) nglayout.ititialpaint.delay

Set #1, #2, and #4 to "true". Set #3 to a high number, like 32. Set #5 to 0.

holy crap... it is working well to me, firefox is much faster...wow~~~

ps. any one knows how to open firefox without ctrl+n? i am sick of seeing "profile manager".... and i dont want to make new user profile on firefox. i just want to use defalt without asking user selection. help me???

위 항목들 중 오타가 있는 것 같습니다.
nglayout.ititialpaint.delay --> nglayout.initialpaint.delay

근데 이거 잘못만들어진 항목은 지우지도 못하고... :roll:

firefox 0.9 쓰는데, 그러네요... 나만 그런가요? 이상하네...
하여간 지금 다른 스크립트 파일 받아서 돌리니까 잘돌아 가네요.
혹시 저처럼 매번 firefox 클릭때 마다 'profile manager' 때문에 고생하시는 분은 이거 받아서 firefox 실행파일로 바꾸세요.

지우려면, ~/.mozilla/firefox/default.xxx/prefs.js를 편집하시면 됩니다. xxx는 296 같은 숫자입니다.

이렇게만 적용했는데도 훨씬 빨라진 것 같군요.

nglayout.initialpaint.delay는 content.not

nglayout.initialpaint.delay는 content.notify.interval과 맞춰주는 편이 좋다고 합니다. 저는 각각 120, 120000으로 맞춰놓았습니다.

network.http.pipelining.firstrequest는 소용없다고 하네요.

network.http.pipelining.maxrequests는 8로 상한이 잡혀 있기 때문에 그보다 높이면 아무 효과도 불 수 없다는 것 같습니다.

저사양에서는 오히려 역효과가 난다던지... 뭐 그런게 있는건가...?
